The XXXI Annual Convention of ISVIB and International Conference (VIBCON 2026) on
“Transforming Animal Health and Production Systems through Smart Biotechnology Innovations
and Disease Intelligence” will be hosted by ICAR-NIVEDI, Bengaluru, during 23–25th
September 2026. The conference will provide an international platform for scientists, academicians,
policymakers, industry leaders, and young professionals to deliberate on how smart biotechnological
innovations and disease intelligence are transforming animal health and production systems.
The conference will emphasize advances in animal disease vaccines, diagnostics, multi-omics
technologies, translational biotechnology, and data-driven disease intelligence, highlighting
their individual and collective roles in enhancing productivity, resilience, preparedness, and
biosecurity of animal production systems.

The ICAR–National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics (NIVEDI) is a premier national institute mandated to strengthen animal disease surveillance, epidemiological analysis, disease forecasting, and decision-support systems.
ICAR-NIVEDI plays a critical role in translating biological and biotechnological advances into actionable disease intelligence for evidence-based policy formulation and field-level interventions. The Indian Society for Veterinary Immunology & Biotechnology (ISVIB), established in 1990, is a professional scientific society dedicated to advancing veterinary immunology, biotechnology, microbiology, and allied biological sciences.
ISVIB focuses on formulating suitable scientific strategies for safeguarding and improving animal health and production.
